I had a look at your website and thought it was very insightful, sincere, refreshingly easy to read, and I agreed with much of what you wrote. I look forward to reading the other categories as they develop. It is a challenge to link psychology, spirituality and disease processes and I respect you all the more for trying to help people in this way, as few have attempted this before, who are so qualified. I believe that many disease processes are not only a response to our frailty as humans, but are also a sign, a move in a different direction and even a way to help others, at the expense of our own suffering. Personal experiencing of illness, injury and psychological despair has helped me to grow the most as a clinician. I read a really interesting book on cancer once basically saying that the cancer cells are not the enemy. I was watching my mother-in-law die of throat cancer and it was a difficult time and a fascinating time to experience a paradigm shift in terms of thinking.
